NTY Clothing Exchange Franchise!

history

In the 1990’s, Ronald G. Olson, President and co-founder of Grow Biz International, experienced explosive growth with his Play It Again Sports® Stores. In just two years, 100 stores had opened and the company had agreements for another 200 openings. Seeking more opportunity for his franchise company, Ron purchased the rights to the Once Upon A Child® Franchise from Lynn and Dennis Blum.

Under Ron’s leadership, Grow Biz International expanded their franchise offerings to more than 1,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada by purchasing other fast-growing start-up brands, including Plato’s Closet®. After ten years at the helm, Ron stepped down to pursue the next big franchising brands.

After evaluating numerous franchises, nothing compared to the potential Ron saw in Clothes Mentor®. In 2006, he formed CMF Holdings (Now NTY Franchise Company) and acquired the franchise rights with 2 existing locations. By January 2014, Clothes Mentor® had grown to 160 stores. Along the way, the company picked up the franchise rights to New Uses and Device Pitstop (formerly Laptop Xchange).
